I’M REALLY TIRED OF LOOKING AT SHIT NOW. JUST SO MUCH SHIT. THIS IS LITERAL HERE. I’M LOOKING A LITERAL SHIT. AS IN PEOPLE’S POOP. THIS IS ART. AAAAAAAAAAAAART.
More scribbles from tonight. This train ride has been interesting to say the least. A little girl’s grandfather came up to me and told me that his daughter had been watching me draw and that she liked it. I was super nervous and it was awkward because they started to speak in Spanish about me but I could understand their conversation which I don’t think they realized. They were a straight up legit Spanish family too. Like, “We’re a family from Spain going on Vacation.” That was cool.
Also getting closer to being able to draw the anomaly that is mad’s face.
FLOWER SCULPTURES PARADE IN ZUNDERT, NETHERLANDS
Bloemencorso, the annual parade of flowers in Zundert. Despite the relatively small nature of Zundert (a small town with a population of about 20,000) the variety of and ingenuity of these sculptures seems to know no bounds. [via thisiscolossal]

DID SOMEONE BRING BACK MY FAVOURITE COMIC?!?!
These have always bothered me, in some obvious ways and some not-so-obvious ways. I’ve been reluctant to post them until now. I’m not sure why.
Berlinde de Bruyckere - We are All Flesh (2004-12)
“An unsettling, reconfigured concept of the body, helpless and contorted, takes center stage in Bruyckere’s faceless sculptures. Abject deformation is turned into beauty as if the artist were trying to wrest a shape from abstract form.”
Can I wear these. CAN I WEAR THESE.
Raaaaaaugh. I just gotta finish this stupid background and foreground. I wanna just get this done, get some crap to eat, I forget about life in a cute girl’s arms.
Okay, I realize this hilariously late for Asexuality Awareness Week (which was last week), but due to unforeseen stressors, it didn’t really get done in time.
Anyway! I’ve wanted to do something like this for a while, and I’m proud of myself of actually getting a six page comic done within a week. (Not that it’s really anything super fancy, but it’s better than nothing lol) I do apologize for the massive ugly text wall that is page four but I had a hard time figuring out how to convey it visually while being kind of pressed for time.
oh and the occasional copy/paste, I’m sorry for that too
Enjoy! Click on the separate pictures if the text is hard to read.
this is simply perfect thank you
let me love you
I’m continually surprised by how much asexuality things I saw this past week. I never suspected there being an Ace day, let alone week until a few weeks ago. I can also vouch that I’ve had nearly all this happen to me.
Sorry again for everyone that’s been having me throw a shit ton of Asexual pride stuff in their face. I was just really surprised to see all this stuff.
Kirsty Mitchell’s late mother Maureen was an English teacher who spent her life inspiring generations of children with imaginative stories and plays. Following Maureen’s death from a brain tumour in 2008, Kirsty channelled her grief into her passion for photography.
She retreated behind the lens of her camera and created Wonderland, an ethereal fantasy world. The photographic series began as a small summer project but grew into an inspirational creative journey.
‘Real life became a difficult place to deal with, and I found myself retreating further into an alternative existence through the portal of my camera,’ said the artist. (read the rest here).
Such a tribute…
